Student competitors advance in spirit club pingpong tournament

UPDATE: The second round of the pingpong tournament was held during lunch today, with eight competitors remaining. Spirit club hosts the semifinals tomorrow during lunch, and the final match will take place during school meeting on Friday.
Students participated in the first round of a week-long pingpong tournament in the quad yesterday. Updated brackets were sent out by spirit club in an email, and winners of the first round advanced to Wednesday’s match.
Trevor Thompson (12) returns a serve during today's round of pingpong games. Winners from this round will advance to the semifinals, which will be held tomorrow during lunch in the quad.
