Weekly Previews: Oct. 18-22

Football

After the cancellation of their away game against Watsonville High School last week, the varsity football team will face the California School For The Deaf at home this Thursday at 6:00 p.m. for Senior Night. The match will be held in 8 vs. 8 format, as opposed to the traditional 11 vs. 11.

Water Polo

The varsity boys, junior varsity boys and varsity girls water polo teams will travel to Homestead High School this Tuesday, playing at 4:30 p.m., 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m., respectively. Later this week, the three teams will play Los Altos High School at home on Thursday for Senior Night—the varsity girls at 4:30 p.m., the junior varsity boys at 5:45 p.m. and the varsity boys at 6:45 p.m. To round out the week, the varsity boys team will compete in the Silicon Valley Invite Tournament, hosted at the upper school, on Friday at 4:30 p.m and Saturday at 9:00 a.m.

Girls Tennis

The undefeated varsity girls tennis team will face Castilleja for the second time this year at home this Tuesday at 4:15 p.m. They will then play Menlo, whom they also faced earlier this season, in an away game this Thursday at 4:00 p.m.

Girls Volleyball

The freshman, junior varsity and varsity girls volleyball teams will play Menlo at home on Tuesday at 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., respectively. The three teams will then face Mercy High School at home on Friday for Senior Night, with the freshman match at 3:00 p.m., the junior varsity match at 4:00 p.m., and the varsity match at 5:30 p.m.

Girls Golf

After victories over Castilleja High last Monday and Mercy High School last Friday, the varsity girls golf team will face Sacred Heart Preparatory School tomorrow at the Bay View Golf Club at 3:15 p.m. They will then play Castilleja at the Sunnyvale Municipal Golf Course on Wednesday at 3:00 p.m., before finishing the week with a match against Notre Dame-Belmont on Thursday at the Bay View Golf Club at 3:15 p.m.

Cross Country

The cross country team will travel to Baylands Park to participate in the second West Bay Athletic League (WBAL) meet of the season this Thursday at 3:00 p.m.
