Sahana Srinivasan, Winged Post and Wingspan Editor-in-Chief

Sahana Srinivasan (12) is the Editor-in-Chief of the Winged Post and Wingspan, having previously served as Managing Editor, Asst. STEM Editor and a reporter. She most enjoys spending time with the rest of the staff, teaching, designing and reporting on national news and STEM. Some of her biggest stories have covered immigration policy, diversity in the tech industry and climate change, and she—and the Winged Post—have won numerous awards from the CSPA, NSPA and National Federation for Press Women. She plans to continue journalism in college. In her free time, she enjoys baking, eating frozen yogurt with friends and watching procedural TV.

“I just have a different outlook on the world,” Meena Gudapati (12) said. “I’m probably not the only one who thinks this way, but I don’t really think anything is a big deal. Tests aren’t a big deal; the ACT isn’t a big deal; college isn’t a big deal. It’s all fine. The world is so big. Nothing matters. It’s all for fun, you know? I don’t really get worried about those things. They’re all just little bits and pieces, and they don’t actually ruin the world or anything.”
