Michelle Liu, Winged Post Co-Editor-in-Chief

Michelle Liu (12) is the co-editor-in-chief of The Winged Post. She joined the journalism program in her sophomore year as a reporter and became the Winged Post Design Editor as a junior. Michelle loves combining thoughtful writing with visuals and design so they work together to tell a vibrant story. She also enjoys eating 100% dark chocolate, scouring the internet obsessively for exciting visual inspiration, and spending way too much time curating her Spotify playlist covers.

“Being able to be vulnerable is something that my mom has taught me. It is necessary to, at times, not be okay, and it’s important to still accept yourself in those moments. Especially when we grow up around a culture where it's not okay to cry, or to let yourself slip ...  it's hard not to make work about that, because that is such a defining point of my life," Farah Hosseini (12) said.
