Students can register or preregister to vote in front of Manzanita today and Friday during long lunch.

Youth Activism Club will be helping students ensure their registration for the upcoming primary elections on March 3 and the general election on Nov. 3. To register, students will need to know the last four digits of their social security number.

Students who will be 18 years old by the general election may register to vote in both the primary and the general elections. Students who are currently 16 or 17 years old may preregister to vote, which will ensure their registration as soon as they turn 18. Students may check their current voter registration status here.

Voters may apply to vote by mail for either election at any time up to a week before the election. To learn more, visit this website.
