A group of 28 Harker students, accompanied by four teachers, visited the Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland, Oregon over the weekend. The group left early Friday morning and will return later this night. They watched four shows: “Romeo and Juliet,” “Sense and Sensibility,” “Henry V” and “Snow in Midsummer.” They also attended an acting workshop and a discussion group, both hosted by actors from the OSF Acting Company.

“I enjoyed watching the different genres and [how] the actors dealt with each,” trip participant Hannah Lak (12) said. “It’s just a cool experience to see a total of 4 plays over 3 days, and it’s not an experience you can get at many other places.”

Sign-ups for next year’s trip will be announced in the spring.
