Upper School Division Head Butch Keller and Upper School math teacher Jane Keller traveled to Washington D.C. for an alumni visit from October 12 to October 16.
They visited Butch Keller’s former advisee Rishi Bhatia (‘11) and alumnus Margaux Nielsen (‘11), both current freshmen at Georgetown University.
“It’s rewarding that the students can be so successful academically and socially. They’re happy; they enjoy being in the whole college and university experience,” Butch Keller said.
Additionally, the couple visited Candace Silva-Martin, former Upper School varsity volleyball captain, at George Washington University. They also attended one of her games which resulted in a victory.
The Kellers are currently in the middle of planning an alumni gathering at Santa Clara University and a Spring trip to visit former students at Princeton, Wellesley, Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and surrounding schools in New York.
