Sports fans of professional versus college sports vary despite the games being fundamentally the same. College sports tend to have more traditions and rituals, with rivalries and school loyalty playing a key role in the more intense nature of the fans.

Same game, different stakes

Although collegiate teams generally have fewer fans than their professional counterparts, they make up for it through the passion and history evident in storied rivalries and in the strong ties between fans and their schools.
“Composition is a way of finding your artistic voice. For me, I would say, every day, when I'm walking around, I'm always hearing music in my head, I’m always hearing songs or melodies or something all the time," Dr. McCurdy said.
