“Team manager was really good for me. It came at a time when I couldn’t necessarily be a player, but I needed to be a part of the football team in some way. My main job was to act as a statistician during the game and log every play, which is something I love. I love statistics and numbers, and mixing those two together was a lot of fun those two years," Jack Ledford (12) said.

"I owe a lot to photography, because it allowed me to become a lot more sociable. As an underclassmen, I was a pretty timid guy, and I kind of cowered behind the camera. I realized that would not get me the results I really wanted, and so in order to overcome that, I need to be more talkative, break the barrier with who I'm shooting, get to know them as a person, crack jokes, stuff like that. That really helped me, not only with my photography, but also with who I was as a person. Through that subtle change in my mindset, I was able to expand my social abilities, but also just take better photos and tell stories better," Brandon Zau (12) said.

“I love losing. I love messing things up. I love failing. As cliche as it sounds, that is the fastest way for me to learn things, to get better at things. If you’re doing things wrong, and no one ever tells you, or you never lose, you think you’re doing everything right but you might not be," Adrian Liu (12) said.
