Michael Sikand, Social Media Editor
Michael Sikand (11) currently serves as a social media editor for Harker Aquila, managing the outward appearance and reach of the online news site. This is his second year on staff. He looks forward to mastering the art of social media and to continue capturing the exciting events that occur in Harker and around the world. Outside of journalism, Michael is executive director of the new Harker incubator, and an active participant in DECA and Unicef. In his free time, Michael loves to scuba dive, play tennis, and drive.

![“[Volleyball has] taught me how to fall correctly, and another thing it taught is that you don’t have to be the best at something to be good at it. If you just hit the ball in a smart way, then it still scores points and you’re good at it. ![“I'm not nearly there yet, but [my confidence has] definitely been getting better since I was pretty shy and timid coming into Harker my freshman year. I know that there's a lot of people that are really confident in what they do, and I really admire them.
