The four-man Harker swim contingent, comprising of Ethan Hu (11), Matthew Chung (10), Rhys Edwards (10), and Jason Kwok (10), placed fourth at the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) State Swimming Championships, held yesterday and today in Clovis.

Ethan smashed two state meet records, creating new top marks in the 200 Individual Medley (IM) and the 100 Butterfly to place first in those events.

The relay team with the four boys also garnered top results, placing third in the 200 Medley Relay and fourth in the 200 Freestyle Relay in the final competition. In addition, Matthew placed seventh in the 200 IM and ninth in the 500 Freestyle, while Jason placed third in the 100 Breaststroke.

Despite being a small team, the Eagles overall placed fourth at the meet.
