Harker Hosts A Capella Assembly
Today, the upper school hosted an a capella assembly, featuring Guys Gig and The Brown Derbies. Guys Gig performed two songs, Harvard Veritone’s “McDonald’s Girl” and their own rendition of Bruno Mars’s Lazy Song. The Brown Derbies travelled from Providence, Rhode Island to perform for the Harker Upper school, singing a variety of songs including Drunk In Love, I Wanna Know You, and Faith. The Brown Derbies are an all-male a capella group from Brown and the second collegiate a cappella group to perform at Harker, the first being the MIT Logs.
