Talking stage. Situationship. Nonchalant culture. Modern relationships feel like they’ve taken all the romance out of, well… romance.  Dating in high school should be both exciting and meaningful, allowing teens to learn about themselves while getting out and having fun. However, the lack of clarity and initiative in modern dating makes it into a social game rather than a rewarding way to build a close relationship with someone.
