“Happening at Harker” is a new Aquila repeater to be published a couple times a week with a compilation of upcoming events and opportunities. Through this repeater, Aquila hopes to provide a one-stop-shop for the Harker community to keep up with upper school events.

“Carstume” Contest: Students can decorate their car when they come to school for tomorrow’s pick-up day for spirit points. The student’s class year needs to be included in the decorations to earn spirit points.

Holiday Tree Decorating Contest: Students can request an ornament to decorate for their class’s holiday tree at tomorrow’s pick-up day. Student Activity Board (SAB) representatives will contact students regarding a decorating theme after they pick up an ornament. Spirit points will be awarded based on overall tree aesthetic.

Letters to COVID-19 Responders: Harker DECA and the Random Acts of Kindness Officer Teams are encouraging students to write letters to COVID-19 first responders through this link by Tuesday.

Happiness Committee’s Wednesday Weekly: This past week’s Wednesday Weekly can be found here

Harker Fire Relief Fundraiser Videos: Harker Fire Relief Fundraiser has surpassed its $1000 milestone and has released two videos here as celebration. The next milestone is at $2000, and Harker community members can donate at this link

Harker Equilibrium: The upper school student-run economics magazine, Equilibrium, is now accepting submissions both for its election edition and general issue at this link. Guidelines can be found here. The semester one deadline and the election edition deadline are both Nov. 29.
