Coming off a recent victory over the Branham Bruins last week, the fourth-seeded varsity girls volleyball team looks to steal a win against the first-seeded Mercy High School (2-0) in an away conference match tonight at Junipero Serra High School. The team has fared well so far in the season, with a current record of 3-2.

“We have a really strong team this year. This group has been together for a while, and I think we’re really capable of doing some great things,” senior Ashley Jazbec said. “I know we have some hopes of going to CCS again like we did last year, and I think we can achieve it if we work really hard.”

The varsity squad will play at 6:30 p.m. tonight in Burlingame, right after the junior varsity girls volleyball team’s match at 5:00 p.m.
