Glenn Reddy (12) announces the results of the class canned food drive competition. All proceeds were donated to charity.

Upper School students interested in judging a Middle School debate tournament that will take place this Thursday at the Middle School campus and this weekend at the Upper School campus should sign up at tinyurl.com/harkerspeechanddebate. No prior debating experience is necessary.

The History Department will host speaker Jodi Magness, an archaeologist who has been a part of groundbreaking research, this Friday during periods two and six in the Nichols Auditorium.

Results of the canned food drive competition are as follows:

  1. Sophomores
  2. Seniors
  3. Juniors
  4. Freshmen

“ELF” will be shown in Manzanita Hall this Friday at 7 p.m. Food will be provided from 6 p.m. onwards.

Downbeat will be performing at hospitals and retirement communities this Friday. They will be concluding their tour at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose at 9 p.m.

Eagle Update: Sophomore Niki Iyer placed fifth at the CIF State Cross Country Championships. Girls’ volleyball lost during the second round of NorCal playoffs. They finished their season as co-league champions and placed second in CCS.

There are no alternate or special schedules this week.
