Varsity boys and girls water polo win on senior night
Varsity Boys’ water polo won 17-4 against Cupertino High School on its senior night yesterday evening.
Last night’s game marked the last Harker water polo game of the season for 12 seniors: Siddhant Jain, Dipaam Acharyya, Annirudh Ankola, Alex Thomas, Jeremy Binkley, Eric Holt, William Bloomquist, Hemant Kunda, Aadyot Bhatnagar, Ryan Palmer, Mohannad Kadhr, and Harry Xu.
Of the goals scored, 6 were in the first quarter, seven were in the second quarter, one was in the third quarter, and three were in the fourth quarter.
Varsity Girls’ water polo was also victorious against Cupertino High School, winning the last game of the season. The score was 10-4.
The girls celebrated four seniors: Anushka Das, Sheridan Tobin, Jackelyn Shen, and Delaney Martin. Of the 10 goals scored, seven were scored by seniors. Delaney scored four and Anushka scored three.
