ASB President Sarah Bean (12) prepares to address the school at school meeting. Today’s meeting included announcements about the fall play, a spirit event, and more.

Spanish National Honor Society (NHS) reserved the back half of the gym for an event that will take place this Wednesday during long lunch. The Fresh Mex station will still be open.

The Harker chapter of the Triple Helix, an international undergraduate science publication, is starting its first cycle of the year. Interested students should attend an important information session in Science Department Chair Anita Chetty’s classroom this Friday during extra help. See the daily bulletin for more information.

Students are encouraged to refrain from crowding around the water stations to find utensils at lunch. Sriracha sauce will be added to the cafeteria, and a gelato truck is in consideration. Students should also clean up their areas after eating lunch.

The Dress Code Committee will be holding a focus group session next Thursday during advisory. Students interested should sign up during class meeting tomorrow, and at most one member per advisory will be permitted to attend.

The fall play, Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, will take place on Oct. 30, 31 and Nov. 1. Tickets are on sale during lunch in the Edge this week and next week.

A spirit event called Chocolate Unicorns will take place outside Manzanita this Wednesday during long lunch. This competition will not involve spirit points for each class.
