Mariam Sulakian, Harker Aquila Features Editor
Mariam Sulakian is the Features Editor of Harker Aquila. She has been a member of the journalism program for four years and appreciates the opportunities the program has given her. Mariam hopes to pursue a career in public policy and journalism and recently interned at The Stanford Daily this past summer. She is Vice President of the the Spirit Club and has been an active member of the Varsity Cheerleading team since the start of her freshman year. Mariam’s hobbies include creative writing, organizing school events, and partaking in community service.

If you just hit the ball in a smart way, then it still scores points and you’re good at it. ![“I'm not nearly there yet, but [my confidence has] definitely been getting better since I was pretty shy and timid coming into Harker my freshman year. I know that there's a lot of people that are really confident in what they do, and I really admire them.
