“Art, specifically painting, has really taught me how to observe other people more clearly. Instead of going straight at it, you're trying to watch it first and ask, ‘How can I approach this?’ to make it easier for myself instead of going straight in. So, observation and patience are very important in the process," senior Sophia Roufas said.

“My teammates are some of the nicest and funniest people that I know. If I were 10, I would be dreading water polo. Now if I’m skipping practice, my teammates motivate me to try my hardest. It’s always been my teammates that keep me playing. What’s important is the connection, the in-pool chemistry but also outside the pool," senior Summer Adler said.

"Sometimes, choir is nerve- racking, depending on how much we prepared the song. But in general, when I go up on the stage, it feels like all the nerves melt away. I’m just with my choir, and we’re having a good time," Ayla Apsey (12) said.
