“Right now [I like] chemistry. It’s really fun. I like to see all the molecules work together. Before sophomore year, I hated chemistry, and then I took AP chemistry and it was really fun so now I like it. It was easier and more fun plus we got to blow things up,” Judy Pan (12) said.

Unlike most stressed out seniors, Judy Pan (12) has found different ways to unwind after difficult school days; like most students, she turns to music. She has been playing piano and violin since the ages of five and six, respectively.

“I listen to music a lot. I mostly listen to classical music but [one of] my favorite composers is Beethoven,” Judy said.

When the week closes, Judy likes to sit on her couch and lounge around flipping through different TV channels. Judy also enjoys playing with her cats.

“My mom got me into a lot of detective shows,” Judy said. “We just watched The Good Wife, before that was Rizzoli and Isles and Law and Order. I like to play with my cats. [I got them] about a year ago, last last summer.”

Another hobby she has recently developed is playing video games, as her brother got her interested.

“I play video games, but I’m really bad at them,” Judy said. “I play word games and sometimes random shooting games my brother shows me.”

Judy also likes to snack and eat her favorite foods while she reads or watches TV.

“[I like] Ramen, spaghetti, and a lot of Chinese foods [like] spicy boiled fish,” Judy said. “[Also, I eat] a lot of candy.”
