Heather Wang (10) is a reporter for Harker Aquila, and this is her second year on staff. This year, she looks forward to getting to know other members of the journalism community, meeting new people through interviews and trying out different styles of article writing. Outside of journalism, Heather likes to read, play the piano and listen to different genres of music.

“When I first started learning languages, there was a big emphasis on the grammatical structure, vocabulary and memorizing. But what I've learned is, there's a big cultural context which is really important when learning it, and it just makes it a lot more enjoyable. You feel like there's a purpose to why you're learning your language and why you want to do it in the first place," senior Arjen Sen said.
