Spirit will hold several holiday-themed spirit events this month.

In a tree-decorating contest, each class can add festive ornaments and decorations to one of four trees in Manzanita. Classes will also compete to create the best-looking gingerbread house during lunch on Friday.

Spirit will also screen the movie “Elf” in Manzanita on Friday at 4:30 p.m.

Students can drop off white elephant gifts, not to exceed $10, at the activities center on Dec. 14 for a gift exchange starting at 3:10 p.m.

Finally, in the “elf on a shelf” competition, Eric Kallbrier will hide an elf doll somewhere on campus each new day. A student who finds the doll and brings it to the activities center will receive a prize.
