“I am an extreme person, and I like to be in the right or left side of the spectrum. For the right side I like to be in complete solitude. It’s where I feel one with myself, as if I’m the only entity there. For the left side, I like to be in an industrial and urban setting, like in the middle of NYC. It’s not that you are meaningless, but that you are a part of the crowd of people,” Varun Baldwa (12) said.

It made me more perceptive to all the privileges that I have that a lot of people don’t have. I don’t really know why because I’m so busy myself and I’m doing all this community service, but I have this general tendency: [if] a person needs my help, I should just try to make their lives easier because I know what it’s like, I know how hard it can be and I know that little push from someone else can really mean a difference, Jordan Murtiff (12) said.

In college, I want to pursue CS because CS is also used in all technology, resources these days, and that’s the direction I want to go.
