This is Aquila Weekly Wrap-Up, where we bring you the latest updates from around our school community.
Tuesday
Club Fair showcased a variety of student-led organizations and affinity groups, inviting attendees to explore and sign up in Nichols.
Demonstrations gave students a glimpse into upcoming club activities. Origami Club taught students how to fold a paper crane, while Quiz Bowl hosted a trivia competition with candy prizes.
Thursday
The school practiced evacuation procedures in a drill following School Meeting.
Certificate students attended a stage management workshop, learning basic skills for the rehearsal and performance process.
Girls and boys soccer held interest meetings to encourage registration. Their seasons begin in November.
Math Club and Model UN conducted introductory sessions for new members. In Dance Club, senior Sonia Yu taught her contemporary combo to Billie Eilish’s “Chihiro.”
Friday
Science Bowl prepared for next week’s elimination rounds, which will determine team rosters, in Dr. Mala Raghavan’s room.
New Orleans jazz ensemble The Tropicales opened the Harker Concert Series in the Patil Theater. They led master classes for Jazz Band and Orchestra prior to the performance.
