Music Monday: Celebrate AAPI with Aquila

Music Monday features a different category of songs on a weekly basis. Each Monday, Harker Aquila will release seven songs, one song for each day of the week.
The recent barrage of violence against Asian Americans has been devastating to Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities across the nation. Though often put in stereotypes, the diversity of AAPI as artists and creators comes alive in the music industry, ranging from more well-known artists such as 88rising, Jhené Aiko and mxmtoon to lesser-known artists such as OVCOCO and Low Leaf. Through this week’s mini-playlist, Aquila hopes to uplift AAPI communities and share their voices during a time in which solidarity is more important than ever.
