Preparations for the Freshman Spring Skit continued today during long lunch. A group of freshman interested in writing and performing in the skit came together today to begin going their Fantasy themed sketch.
To increase efficiency the script was written by a small group of students, mainly Nikita Mittal (9) and Vivian Isenberg (9), Freshman Student Body Vice President and Secretary, with additional help and ideas from Riya Godbole and Tiara Bhatacharya.
The skit revolves around a few cartoon characters who travel through various lands conquering villains, based on the other class’ themes.
Nikita has high hopes for the skit this spring and believes the extra preparation time will be useful.
“I hope we can be organized, get all the supplies, and have a couple run throughs before we [perform at the rally],” she said.
Delaney Martin (9), who is active in helping with other preparations for spirit week, has equally high hopes.
“I expect it will be extremely well done because it incorporates all the other themes from the other classes and our class is extremely spirited,” she said.
