This past week’s events included an Eagle Buddies class trip for the sophomores, a L.I.F.E. assembly for the freshmen, juniors, and seniors, and an intergrade class competition.
On Friday, January 20, the sophomores headed over to the Bucknall campus to visit their third grade Eagle Buddies. Students had a chance to catch up with their younger friends while reading books together in their pajamas. Additionally, the two classes brought pajamas and books to donate to less fortunate children. The reunion concluded in Upper School Division Head Butch Keller reading a story book to the entire Lower School Campus.
Meanwhile, the other three classes participated in L.I.F.E. assemblies on Friday, January 20. Juniors and seniors learned about healthy high school relationships, while freshmen discussed the type of person that they wanted to be by their senior year and created high school goals to aim for.
On Wednesday, January 25, students took part in an egg-drop spirit competition. The four classes embraced the spirit of teamwork while trying to create a foundation with which to support an egg during a drop from the second story of Nichols Hall. The freshmen placed first, with the juniors following in second, sophomores third, and seniors last.
More events to look forward to next week include the annual Upper School dance production.
