Humans of Harker: Alex Youn is passionate about his faith

“Corrie ten Boom once said, ‘When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away your ticket and jump off. You sit still and trust the engineer.’ When I feel like life’s got me backed up against a wall, I do get stressed out. But, the basis of my eventual recover is that I know God loves me. I know his plan may have a lot of detours, but I know he has one for me and everyone else. I believe in Catholicism, but no matter what you believe it, if you believe in something, don’t be afraid to practice that belief. Don’t be afraid to tell people about your beliefs and passions because why not express to someone else what is most important to you?” Alex Youn (’17) said.
