Apurva Gorti, The Winged Post Sports Editor
Apurva Gorti is a Sports Editor for The Winged Post. She is a senior and has been in journalism since her sophomore year. Her favorite part of journalism is having an excuse to attend various events and to talk to many different people. Apurva is also on the girls varsity soccer team and has been playing piano for over 12 years. Apurva loves Starbucks’ salted caramel hot chocolate and enjoys playing the iPhone game “Heads Up” with her friends in her free time.

![“I'm not nearly there yet, but [my confidence has] definitely been getting better since I was pretty shy and timid coming into Harker my freshman year. I know that there's a lot of people that are really confident in what they do, and I really admire them.
