Alison Yang (12) is an Editor-in-Chief of Harker Aquila, and this is her fourth year on staff. This year, she looks forward to bonding with everyone on staff and encouraging creative concepts. In her free time, she enjoys eating shaved ice and hanging out with her cat, Schrodinger.

“I think that reading should be an escape. A lot of the time when I read realistic fiction, I think that I could just be living life instead. If I wanted to experience reality, I could go and do it, but it's not like you can go outside and see dragons or something. So I like the escapist aspect, but I also read some nonfiction and essays and memoirs," James Blenko (12) said.
