What to wear on rainy days
As the rainy season begins, many students may have trouble finding alternatives to remain in style amidst the wet weather. However, there are numerous ways to stay fashionable while being warm in the winter.
Infinity scarves have been in the spotlight for the winter. Along with providing sufficient comfort, the scarves add a stylish touch to any normal day’s outfit.
Put those uggs back in your closet and bring out the rainboots. Unlike the suede uggs, these boots do not get ruined by the rain.
Besides wearing jeans and a sweater, summer dresses with comfortable leggings can be both comfortable and warm. A puffy jacket can be added to the dress in order to have further protection from the wet weather.
Many teenagers dub this season “sweater weather” because sweaters are the perfect clothing items to wear in the rain. Sweaters can be found in most clothing stores and come in many designs fit for anybody’s personal style. Along with being easy to wear, sweaters can add a chic feeling to any outfit. Big Christmas sweaters can be worn with leggings or jeans alike with boots.
Long trench coats can always be worn for a classy look. Around school, many students wear heavy jackets to protect themselves from the cold weather. Department stores such as Macy’s or Nordstrom sell these around this time of the year due to the rain and holiday seasons.
While wearing these clothing items, try to avoid wearing only shades of black or grey! A touch of bright colors can make an outfit stand out in a crowd, even on a gloomy day.
As the last touch to the perfect rainy day getup, the one essential accessory is an umbrella. Polka dots, neon colors, or even just a plain black umbrella can make any outfit shine. It protects the fabrics while making a statement.
Although the rain can be a hastle at times, a variety of clothes are available to embrace the season.
