Despite beginning another quarter century, it’s time to return to the classics. Adele, arguably one of the world’s greatest singer-songwriters of all time, channels her soulful roots in her decade-old albums “21” and “25.” Though these albums have been played and re-played dozens of times, Adele’s voice always instills a sense of vulnerability yet comfort in the listener. Harker Aquila presents Adele’s young adulthood woes, as she steers past old relationships and looks to the future with a hopeful melancholy.
