Freshman council candidates deliver speeches before Thursday elections

Freshmen listened to speeches from their peers running for student council positions during the school meeting period this morning, in preparation for voting during lunch on Thursday, which will be held in the journalism room. Twenty-nine freshmen ran for the five student council positions.
Candidates for the positions of spirit coordinator, secretary, treasurer and vice president delivered their speeches today, while candidates for president will deliver their speeches during advisory period on Thursday morning.
