The upper school community enjoyed chocolate chip cookies after the school meeting today in honor of former head of school Howard Nichols’s birthday on Oct. 10.

Nichols, who died in 2008, was known to always greet students or faculty in his office with a jar of cookies, and Harker serves chocolate chip cookies across all campuses every year to commemorate him.
