7 saved from sunk ferry in Pacific
At least seven survivors were saved from the Pacific Ocean after their ferry, which carried over 50 passengers, traveling between two Kiribati islands sank more than a week ago. Search planes are currently looking for more survivors.
Afghan national day of mourning declared
The Afghan government declared a national day of mourning after a deadly ambulance bomb killed more than 103 civilians in the streets of Kabul. The U.N. denounced the attack, which came days after a Save the Children office building was attacked.
