On October 20, Head of School Chris Nikoloff gave the first of six seminars in his year-long series “Six Great Ideas,” inspired by author Mortimer J. Adler. In Nichols Auditorium during long lunch, Nikoloff lectured and led a discussion about truth where he explored concepts such as skepticism, reality, and relativism.
“I know I enjoyed it very much – I was thrilled with the turnout [of about 30 students and faculty], and I had a great time talking about those topics,” Nikoloff said of his first session. “I really was impressed with the students, and I look forward to the next [seminar].”
Nikoloff plans to draw upon the discussion of truth in his next five seminars, which will explore goodness, beauty, freedom, equality, and justice.
