Victoria Li (10) is a reporter for Harker Aquila, and this is her second year on staff. This year, she looks forward to meeting new people and improving her photography and interview skills. Outside of journalism, she like to sing, listen to music and hang out with friends.

“Robotics taught me to take the initiative a lot more. It taught me that with enough effort, you can basically get anything done as long as you just try, keep trying, and don’t back down. This sense of determination really comes out in other things if you just pick anything and just stick to it until you become really good at it. For robotics, it’s especially special since you also have other aspects like collaboration and managing a large team that you don't get with a lot of other activities," senior Aaron Chen said.

“All my hobbies are about communication, which is something that rose very early in my childhood. When I'm shadowing a physician, it’s about, ‘She mentioned this drug, let me go home and research that.’ But at the same time, it's, ‘How is she making the patient feel more comfortable?’ When I'm outdoors in my Boy Scouts troop, it's about how can I bring all of that together,’” senior Shiven Balaji said.
