School Meeting Recap – 11/10
Cantilena previews the upcoming Conservatory performance. The Conservatory will be performing this Thursday in the Nichols auditorium.
The sophomore class will be selling baked goods during the morning and advisory this Thursday. Students will not be able to purchase goods through their student accounts.
Juniors Sadhika Malladi, Vineet Kosaraju and Jonathan Ma, who are all Siemens Competition Regional Winners, will be presenting their research projects in Robbie Korin’s classroom at noon this Wednesday.
Lunch staff member Gustavo Parra spoke to students on behalf of the ASB regarding cleaning up after eating lunch.
SFCC is running a food drive that will take place from this week through next Wednesday. Twelve collection bins sorted by class are located around campus, and details regarding the accompanying class competition will be announced soon.
The Conservatory will present its first vocal concert of the year, titled Ad Amore, on Thursday in the Nichols Auditorium at 6 p.m.
Eagle Update: Girls’ volleyball earned the second seed in the Central Coast Section (CCS) tournament, and plays Saturday night at Blackford. Girls’ tennis also qualified for CCS, and runners Alex Dellar (11), Niki Iyer (10), Corey Gonzales (12) and Jack Rothschild (11) qualified for the CCS Cross Country Championships. Boys’ water polo finished third in the league, and senior nights for football and cheerleading are Friday night.
There are no alternate schedules this week.
