Seniors in Shah
Accompanying a series of shifts on campus, the administration allowed the seniors to retain their lockers in Shah, moving the juniors to Dobbins, and leaving the freshmen to join the sophomores in Main.
In previous years, the senior class’ lockers were in Main, alongside the sophomores. After a meeting with Dean of Students Kevin Williamson and Division Head Butch Keller in May, the Class of 2015 learned that the Senior Lounge would be transformed into an Innovation Center available to all students, leaving many seniors disappointed they would no longer have a place to call their own.
The senior class council conferred with their peers in early June through the Class of 2015 Facebook Page before meeting with the administration, where students explored the idea of remaining in Shah for the upcom- ing school year. Other suggestions included using the Cyber Loft as a Senior Lounge and being granted off-campus senior privileges earlier.
