9:13 p.m. The Mariners kneel out the game clock. The Eagles lose 26-42.

9:03 p.m. Rohan rushes into the end-zone for the Eagles’ fourth touchdown of the night.

9:00 p.m. Rohan scrambles for a first down on 4th and 2. The ball is now at the 1-yard line.

8:57 p.m. Dylan rushes for a large gain to advance the ball to the Marina 5-yard line.

8:49 p.m. Marina scores another touchdown and converts the PAT to go up 42-20.

8:40 p.m. The Mariners drive the ball down to the 1-yard line. It is now 3rd and 1.

8:20 p.m. The Eagles pass is tipped and intercepted. The Mariners take over at their own 29-yard line.

8:08 p.m. John Zeng (12) scores a touchdown for the Eagles. Aaditya Gulati’s PAT attempt is blocked by the Mariners.

7:57 p.m. The Eagles kickoff to start the second half. Bowen tackles Marina’s kick returner at the 25-yard line.

7:43 p.m. The Homecoming Court representatives walk out onto the field. Senior class dean Christopher Hurshman announces that Elvis Han (12) and Nicole Tian (12) have been crowned Homecoming Royalty.

7:42 p.m. The Jazz Band has been performing throughout the night.

“It’s been a lot of fun to play, especially in person. It’s so exciting to be able to play at these events and be part of all the spirit that’s happening. I’m having a lot of fun and making new friends,” Ritu Belani (10), a member of Jazz Band, said.

7:40 p.m. The seniors out-pull the freshman to win first place in the tug-of-war competition.

7:37 p.m. The freshman and seniors run onto the field for the finals of the tug-of-war competition.

7:33 p.m. The Harker Cheer Team and Dance Company perform at half-time.

7:30 p.m. The Mariners kneel, bringing an end to the first half.

7:28 p.m. The Eagles deep pass attempt is intercepted. The Mariners take over at their own 34-yard line.

7:27 p.m. Bowen Xia (9) returns the kickoff to the Eagles 36-yard line. There are 13 seconds left in the first half.

7:21 p.m. The Mariners complete a touchdown pass down the left sideline and then convert their two point attempt to go up 30-14. The Eagles take an injury timeout.

7:12 p.m. The Eagles convert the two point attempt.

7:10 p.m. Rohan scrambles out of the pocket and completes a pass to Adheet for an Eagles touchdown.

7:07 p.m. Rohan rushes for a large gain and then completes a pass to Aaditya to move ball to the Mariners 22-yard line.

7:04 p.m. The Mariners score another rushing touchdown. Following their two point conversion, the Mariners lead 22-6.

7:00 p.m. The Eagles fumble the punt.

6:59 p.m. The Mariners will punt from their own end-zone on 4th and 21. Bowen Xia (9) is back deep to receive the punt.

6:55 p.m. The Mariners fumble the snap, and Chris Tonev (11) tackles the Mariners ball carrier for a 16-yard loss.

6:51 p.m. Marina intercepts the Eagles pass. The Eagles defense is now on the field.

6:48 p.m. The Eagles force an incompletion on fourth down. They will take over at the Marina’s 49-yard line. Rohan completes a 36 yard pass to Zeke down the right sideline. The Eagles are now at Marina’s 12-yard line.

6:46 p.m. The Mariners score on a long rushing play, but the play is called back due to a holding penalty. John and Om Tandon (10) tackle the Marina running-back at the line of scrimmage on back to back players to bring up fourth down.

6:35 p.m. The Eagles punt the ball away. There are two minutes left to play in the first quarter.

6:30 p.m. The Mariners quarterback rushes for a long touchdown, and shortly after, the Mariners convert the two point attempt. The score is now 6-14.

6:26 p.m. The Mariners are in possession of the ball. Adheet forces an incompletion on a deep pass attempt. It is now 3rd and 8, and Marina calls timeout.

6:18 p.m. Aaditya converts the PAT attempt, but the play is called back due to an illegal formation penalty on the Eagles. The Mariners block the Eagles second PAT attempt. The score is now tied at 6-6.

6:14 p.m. Rohan completes a deep pass to Zeke Weng (11), who jukes his defender and carries the ball into the end-zone for an Eagles touchdown.

6:11 p.m. The Mariners scored a 48-yard rushing touchdown. John Zeng (12) blocks the PAT attempt. The score is now 6-0 in favor of the Mariners.

6:09 p.m. The Marina defense stops Harker’s fourth down rush attempt at the line of scrimmage. The Marina Mariners are now in possession of the ball.

6:07 p.m. Rohan completes a screen pass to wide receiver Adheet Ganesh (12) for another first down. Two plays later, on 3rd and 9, Rohan rushes for six yards, bringing up fourth down.

6:05 p.m. After an incompletion on a deep pass by quarterback Rohan Gorti (11), Dylan rushes for a Harker first down.

6:04 p.m. Pranav Varmaraja (12) receives the opening kickoff from Marina High School. Dylan Parikh (11) rushes for a first down on the Eagles first offensive play.

5:53 p.m. Football captains John Zeng (12), Maddux Carlisle (12), Adheet Ganesh (12) and Aaditya Gulati (12) step forward to prepare for the coin toss. They are accompanied by the most recent Hall of Fame inductees – Cole Davis (’10), Drew Goldstein (’13) and Jessica Khojasteh (’11).

5:48 p.m. The football team cheers as they run onto the field ten minutes before kickoff.

5:39 p.m. The sophomores defeat the juniors to win third place in the tug-of-war competition after a tight battle that lasted over thirty seconds judged by Dean of Students Kevin Williamson. During halftime, the freshmen and seniors will contend for the title of 2021 tug-of-war champion.

The varsity football team (2-3) will face off against Marina High School today at 6:00 p.m. for the annual Homecoming Game. The match will be held on Davis Field.
