Harker Aquila

Prameela Kottapalli (12) is the Editor-in-chief of the Winged Post. She enjoys spending time with her fellow staff members and telling people’s stories. One of her favorite aspects of being a journalist is raising awareness about important issues, particularly pertaining to social justice. Some of her most important stories have covered the gun control movement, the #MeToo campaign, immigration policy and the Black Lives Matter movement. Outside of journalism, she volunteers for her student group POW (Power of Words) and plays on the varsity basketball team. She spends her free time watching television, reading, attempting to cook and finding rare memes.
