The Class of 2010 finished first in the annual spirit competition with a tally total of 52735 points. In second place were the juniors with 44490 points; in third, the sophomores with 40180 points; and in fourth, the freshmen with 35285 points.
The senior class also won the Glee-themed spring spirit rally held earlier today, with the other three classes following behind in the same order. The juniors won the class unity and best Glee dance categories, while the seniors finished first in Glee costumes and edged out the juniors for the best overall Glee performance by a single point.
On Thursday, the sophomore class finished first in the Duct Tape Regatta and also won the largest splash competition; the freshmen won the belly flop.
For the daily spirit dress up, the juniors had the most on pajama day; the seniors won on injury day and “Would you be my friend” day, and the sophomores had the most check-ins on career day. Although the underclassmen teamed together to defeat the upperclassmen in Wednesday’s balloon stomp, the juniors won Thursday’s prom dress up in the first lunch, and the seniors placed first in second lunch.
