Student Council sold Valentine’s Day Grams outside of Manzanita during lunchtime. This year, they also sent out an email with a form to fill out to provide students with an online order option.

There were three options for buying Valentine’s grams: a rose, chocolates or both. They sold the roses for five dollars each, chocolates for five dollars and a combination of the two for eight dollars.

According to Sandip Nirmel, ASB President and organizer of the Valentine’s Grams Fundraiser, sales were good this year. Sales totaled at 61 roses, 63 chocolate boxes and 54 combos.

“Student Council has been doing Valentine’s grams for many many years,” Assistant to Directors of Activities and Business and Entrepreneurship Eric Kallbrier said. “It’s tradition for Student Council to offer that up as a fundraiser; it’s a great community building event.”

Members of student council distributed the grams during advisory on Friday.
